I have the unpowered version of the Blair in Spanish Cedar. It is incredible - the craftsmanship was impecable and the cedar gives a great vibe. Indeed, the 1/2" plywood *shipping crate* Robert built was quite a nice piece of work! Don't see that very often anymore. But most important, sounds great too, you can dial up smooth and balanced tones and the speaker combinations give quite a pallet of sonic presence. I've put guitars and basses through it at all sorts of volumes and nary rattle or hum. I thought I would open the back but I am enjoying the closed back and have left it as it came. Perfect match for the Betsy top. Thanks Rober!
